TEACHING...finally!!

I'm so excited! I've just scheduled to teach my first class!! November 9th & 10th in Minneapolis @ Potek Glass. $310 for 2 days! Must have lampworking experience.

"In this 2 day class, you will learn how to work bigger & more efficiently. Julie will start out by having you jumping in with both feet, shortening the learning curve of the ultimate beadmaking tool: the Electric Mandrel Spinner.

You’ll learn:
*shaping techniques for end of mandrel pendants & hearts
*encasing & the pleating technique
*“chemical reactions”: working with silver glass, wire & foil
*big hole charm beads
*custom fitted utensil handles
*large hole rings & bud vases
*working your way up to extra large kaleidoscope beads
*finishing techniques for end of mandrel pendants, kaleidoscopes & utensils, as well as capping & coring big hole beads.

Each student will be supplied with an Electric Mandrel Spinner to use in class. They will be available for purchase for 10% off retail ($235). Additional supplies will also be available for purchase.

Class tuition includes: two Emiko big hole mandrels, three 3/16” big hole mandrels, supplies for finished pendants, utensil blanks & kaleidoscope kit.....and lunch, both days."
